Correction of the notification dated 7 December 2009

On 11 February 2010, BlackRock informed us as follows:

On 01 December 2009 the voting interests held by BR Jersey International
Holdings, L.P., St. Helier, Jersey, UK, in GEA Group Aktiengesellschaft,
Bochum, Germany, exceeded the thresholds of 3% and 5% and amounts to 5.44%
(9,991,777 voting shares) on that day.

All of the voting rights are attributable to BR Jersey International
Holdings, L.P. pursuant to Section 22 Paragraph 1 Sentence 1 No. 6 in
connection with sent. 2 WpHG.

This announcement is an amendment of the disclosure made for trade date 01
December 2009. The name of the company was wrongly indicated as BlackRock
Jersey International Holdings, L.P. and has now been correctly updated to
BR Jersey International Holdings, L.P.
