On February 15, 2010, Fidelity Management & Research Company, Boston,
Massachusetts, USA has informed us according to Article 21, Section 1 of
the WpHG that via shares its Voting Rights on AIXTRON AG, Herzogenrath,
Germany, ISIN: DE000A0WMPJ6, WKN: A0WMPJ, have fallen below the 5% limit of
the Voting Rights on February 11, 2010 and on that day amounted to 4.89%
(this corresponds to 4924690 Voting Rights).
According to Article 22, Section 1, Sentence 1, No. 6 of the WpHG, 4.89% of
the Voting Rights (this corresponds to 4924690 Voting Rights) is to be
attributed to the company.

Furthermore has informed us Fidelity Investment Trust, Boston,
Massachusetts, USA according to Article 21, Section 1 of the WpHG on
February 15, 2010, that via shares its Voting Rights on AIXTRON AG,
Herzogenrath, Germany, ISIN: DE000A0WMPJ6, WKN: A0WMPJ, have fallen below
the 3% limit of the Voting Rights on February 11, 2010 and on that day
amounted to 2.96% (this corresponds to 2975400 Voting Rights).
