On 10 March 2010 BlackRock, Inc., New York, USA informed us pursuant to
Section 21 Paragraph 1 WpHG that its voting rights in Allianz SE, Munich,
Germany have fallen below the threshold of 5% on 9 March 2010 and amounts
to 4.99% (22,638,729 voting shares) on that day.

All of the voting rights are attributable to BlackRock, Inc. pursuant to
Section 22 Paragraph 1 Sentence 1 N° 6 in connection with sent. 2 WpHG.
