The Supervisory Board of ELMOS Semiconductor AG has adopted the financial
statements in today's meeting. For the appropriation of retained earnings
in fiscal year 2009, Management Board and Supervisory Board propose to the
Annual General Meeting to be held on May 4, 2010 to carry forward the
entire retained earnings to new accounts.

The group's net loss for 2009 according to IFRS came to -12.2 million Euro
(2008: net income of 10.6 million Euro).

ELMOS is basically optimistic in its outlook for the future on the basis of
economic factors. However, it has not become clearly apparent yet whether
the current upswing will continue in the second half-year. The general
economic situation is still holding risks. Due to the good start into the
year 2010, ELMOS expects an increase in sales of more than 15% for the
whole year. EBIT and cash flow will be positive in 2010. Furthermore,
capital expenditures will turn out significantly below 15% in relation to
sales.

ELMOS will present detailed information on fiscal year 2009 at its annual
press conference on March 18, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. in Dortmund and at the
analysts' conference held that same day at 4:00 p.m. in Frankfurt/Main.
