State Street Corporation, Boston, USA informed us on April 01, 2010 that
pursuant to section 27a(1) WpHG on April 01, 2010 its shareholding in
alstria office REIT-AG, Hamburg, Deutschland, ISIN: DE000A0LD2U1, WKN:
A0LD2U had reached or exceeded the threshold of 10% or a higher threshold.

* The voting rights in alstria office REIT-AG are attributed via Mourant
Ireland Limited according to Sec 22 (1) sentence 1 no. 1 WpHG. The
reporting person does neither hold the voting rights for strategic purposes
nor to realize trading profits.

* The reporting person does not intend to obtain further voting rights by
acquisition or any other way.

* The reporting person does not intend to influence the composition of the
issuers' administration, management or supervisory board.

* The reporting person does not intend to change the capital structure of
the company, especially with regards to the ratio of internal/outside
financing and the dividend policy.

* The voting rights in alstria office REIT-AG are attributed via Mourant
Ireland Limited according to Sec 22 (1) sentence 1 no. 1 WpHG. Concerning
the source of funds for the voting rights in alstria office REIT-AG, the
reporting person did neither use own capital nor equity capital.

alstria would like to point out that the major shareholder is still holding
its entire participation in alstria; the voting right notification results
from a mere restructuring on trustee level.
