On May 4, 2010, FMR LLC, Boston, Massachussetts, USA has informed us
according to Article 21, Section 1 of the WpHG that via shares its Voting
Rights on AIXTRON AG, Herzogenrath, Deutschland, ISIN: DE000A0WMPJ6, WKN:
A0WMPJ, have fallen below the 3% limit of the Voting Rights on April 30,
2010 and on that day amounted to 2.15% (this corresponds to 2168604 Voting
Rights).
According to Article 22, Section 1, Sentence 1, No. 6 of the WpHG, 2.15% of
the Voting Rights (this corresponds to 2168604 Voting Rights) is to be
attributed to the company in connection with sentence 2 of the WpHG.

Furthermore, on May 4, 2010, Fidelity Management & Research Company,
Boston, Massachusetts, USA has informed us according to Article 21, Section
1 of the WpHG that via shares its Voting Rights on AIXTRON AG,
Herzogenrath, Germany, ISIN: DE000A0WMPJ6, WKN: A0WMPJ, have fallen below
the 3% limit of the Voting Rights on April 29, 2010 and on that day
amounted to 2.87% (this corresponds to 2895043 Voting Rights).
According to Article 22, Section 1, Sentence 1, No. 6 of the WpHG, 2.87% of
the Voting Rights (this corresponds to 2895043 Voting Rights) is to be
attributed to the company.
