Minority Stake Enables Access to Product Business
July 1, 2010
The board of Silicon Sensor International AG as well as Michael Heraeus,
principal partner of Vereta GmbH, Einbeck, and its founding partners,
agreed on holding a stake in Vereta GmbH today. In a first step set for the
upcoming weeks Silicon Sensor will hold a stake of 24,9 % in Vereta.
According to the agreement the value will be about a six-digit number.
Vereta GmbH, a development enterprise, is specialised in particulate matter
and climate sensor technology. One lately developed mobile measurement
device for particulate matter will be launched in the near future.
Holding a stake in Vereta GmbH will increase Silicon Sensor's competence in
the field of sensor products based on optical principles. Further, the
development competencies of Vereta GmbH will gain access to an integrated
corporation.
Silicon Sensor will seek to increase its amount of holding in the future.
