Bochum, July 27, 2010 - Already in June, GEA received a large order for a
milk powder plant with a processing capacity of over 1 million liters of
milk per day. The order, worth more than EUR 20 million and to be completed
by August, 2011 was placed by Miraka Ltd., New Zealand.

To satisfy the steadily growing demand of dairy products in China, this
plant will be the fifth built by the segment GEA Process Engineering during
the last 3 years in New Zealand, where conditions for dairy farming are
ideal. GEA Process Engineering is world market leader in milk processing
technology.
