Templeton Investment Counsel LLC., Fort Lauderdale, USA, has informed us
that its share of voting rights in JENOPTIK AG has exceeded the threshold
of 3% on September 13, 2010. Templeton Investment Counsel LLC holds 3.11%
of the voting rights (1,780,218 shares).
All these voting rights are attributable to Templeton Investment Counsel
LLC in accordance with Article 22, Para. 1, Sent. 1, No. 6 WpHG.
