Ad hoc release according to para. 15 of the Securities Trading Law (WpHG):

Munich, September 21, 2010. As published on September 14, 2010, the
executive board and supervisory board of the Munich-based private equity
company, ARQUES Industries AG (ISIN DE0005156004), have decided to increase
the company's capital stock granting shareholders' subscription rights. Up
to 13,216,670 no par bearer shares will be issued out of the capital stock
authorised by the Annual General Meeting on May 30, 2006 (9,816,670
'authorised capital stock 2006/I') as well as stock authorised by the
Annual General Meeting on August 5, 2009 (3,400,000 'authorised capital
stock 2009'). The exercise prize is set at EUR 1.10 per share.

In addition, the ratio for the subscription rights was fixed today at 2:1
i.e. for two old shares one new share can be taken up. Besides the
subscription period was agreed by a resolution of the executive board in
agreement with the supervisory board. It will commence on September 23,
2010 and end on October 06, 2010. The rights offer to the shareholders will
be published according to the relevant regulations in the electronic
Federal Gazette.

Each shareholder can exercise his/her subscription right by informing the
settlement centre regarding his/her depository bank. The appropriate
application orders will be available at the depository banks. An
over-subscription of shares may take place if entitled shareholders submit
a bid to acquire more new shares than their existence shares. A public
trade in subscription rights will not take place.
