[Essen, 24 September 2010] As a result of the ongoing restructuring of
state budgets, in particular by the German Bundeswehr, a key client,
acquisitions for large-scale projects of secunet Security Networks AG have
had to be delayed. Based on current projections, the Board of Management of
secunet Security Networks AG therefore regards it as unlikely that the
sales and profit targets set for the 2010 financial year will be met.
Previously, a stable year-on-year result in terms of sales and EBIT had
been the objective. The expected effects have led the forecast for 2010 to
be revised downward; the secunet Group is thus now estimating sales revenue
of around EUR 57 million with EBIT over EUR 2 million. However, the fourth
quarter, which traditionally sees a strong performance, remains the
decisive factor for the achievement of the forecast figures.
