- 'WpHG'), we received the following notification on October 01, 2010:

1. Günther Cramer (Germany)
Hereby I notify pursuant to Sec. 21 para. 1 WpHG that Günther Cramer's
voting portion fell below the threshold of 15 % of the voting rights in SMA
Solar Technology AG on 1st October 2010. His voting portion now amounts to
12.793 %. This corresponds to 4,493,300 voting rights.

1. Lars Cramer (Germany)
   Hereby I notify pursuant to Sec. 21 para. 1 WpHG that Lars Cramer's voting
   portion exceeded the threshold of 3 %, 5 %, 10 %, 15 %, 20 % and 25 % of
   the voting rights in SMA Solar Technology AG on 1st October 2010. His
   voting portion now amounts to 25.200 %. This corresponds to 8,744,470
   voting rights. 18.900 % (6,558,360 voting rights) are attributed to Lars
   Cramer pursuant to Sec. 22 para. 2 WpHG. The attribution is based on a Pool
   Agreement ('Poolvertrag SMA Solar Technology AG') between Lars Cramer,
   Verena Drews, Uwe Kleinkauf, Kirstin Homburg-Kleinkauf, Marsha Wettlaufer,
   Silvia Ortmann and Volker Ortmann.

2. Peter Drews (Germany)
   Hereby I notify pursuant to Sec. 21 para. 1 WpHG that Peter Drews' voting
   portion fell below the threshold of 15 % of the voting rights in SMA Solar
   Technology AG on 1st October 2010. His voting portion now amounts to 12.809
   %. This corresponds to 4,444,836 voting rights.

3. Verena Drews (Germany)
   Hereby I notify pursuant to Sec. 21 para. 1 WpHG that Verena Drews' voting
   portion exceeded the threshold of 3 %, 5 %, 10 %, 15 %, 20 % and 25 % of
   the voting rights in SMA Solar Technology AG on 1st October 2010. Her
   voting portion now amounts to 25.200 %. This corresponds to 8,744,470
   voting rights. 18.900 % (6,558,360 voting rights) are attributed to Verena
   Drews pursuant to Sec. 22 para. 2 WpHG. The attribution is based on a Pool
   Agreement ('Poolvertrag SMA Solar Technology AG') between Verena Drews,
   Lars Cramer, Uwe Kleinkauf, Kirstin Homburg-Kleinkauf, Marsha Wettlaufer,
   Silvia Ortmann and Volker Ortmann.

4. Werner Kleinkauf (Germany)
   Hereby I notify pursuant to Sec. 21 para. 1 WpHG that Werner Kleinkauf's
   voting portion fell below the threshold of 15 % and 10 % of the voting
   rights in SMA Solar Technology AG on 1st October 2010. His voting portion
   now amounts to 9.253 %. This corresponds to 3,210,900 voting rights.

5. Uwe Kleinkauf (Germany)
   Hereby I notify pursuant to Sec. 21 para. 1 WpHG that Uwe Kleinkauf's
   voting portion exceeded the threshold of 3 %, 5 %, 10 %, 15 %, 20 % and 25
   % of the voting rights in SMA Solar Technology AG on 1st October 2010. His
   voting portion now amounts to 27.280 %. This corresponds to 9,466,186
   voting rights. 2.075 % (720,000 voting rights) are attributed to Uwe
   Kleinkauf pursuant to Sec. 22 para. 1 sentence 1 no. 1 WpHG. Additionally,
   19,765 % (6,858,360 voting rights) are attributed to Uwe Kleinkauf pursuant
   to Sec. 22 para. 2 WpHG. The attribution is based on a Pool Agreement
   ('Poolvertrag SMA Solar Technology AG') between Uwe Kleinkauf, Lars Cramer,
   Verena Drews, Kirstin Homburg-Kleinkauf, Marsha Wettlaufer, Silvia Ortmann
   and Volker Ortmann.

6. Kirstin Homburg-Kleinkauf (Germany)
   Hereby I notify pursuant to Sec. 21 para. 1 WpHG that Kirstin
   Homburg-Kleinkauf's voting portion exceeded the threshold of 3 %, 5 %, 10
   %, 15 %, 20 % and 25 % of the voting rights in SMA Solar Technology AG on
   1st October 2010. Her voting portion now amounts to 25.200 %. This
   corresponds to 8,744,470 voting rights. 24.336 % (8,444,460 voting rights)
   are attributed to Kirstin Homburg-Kleinkauf pursuant to Sec. 22 para. 2
   WpHG. The attribution is based on a Pool Agreement ('Poolvertrag SMA Solar
   Technology AG') between Kirstin Homburg-Kleinkauf, Lars Cramer, Verena
   Drews, Uwe Kleinkauf, Marsha Wettlaufer, Silvia Ortmann and Volker Ortmann.

7. Reiner Wettlaufer (Germany)
   Hereby I notify pursuant to Sec. 21 para. 1 WpHG that Reiner Wettlaufer's
   voting portion fell below the threshold of 15 % of the voting rights in SMA
   Solar Technology AG on 1st October 2010. His voting portion now amounts to
   12.809 %. This corresponds to 4,444,844 voting rights.

8. Marsha Wettlaufer (Germany)
   Hereby I notify pursuant to Sec. 21 para. 1 WpHG that Marsha Wettlaufer's
   voting portion exceeded the threshold of 3 %, 5 %, 10 %, 15 %, 20 % and 25
   % of the voting rights in SMA Solar Technology AG on 1st October 2010. Her
   voting portion now amounts to 25.200 %. This corresponds to 8,744,470
   voting rights. 23.100 % (8,015,760 voting rights) are attributed to Marsha

    voting portion exceeded the threshold of 3 %, 5 %, 10 %, 15 %, 20 % and 25
    % of the voting rights in SMA Solar Technology AG on 1st October 2010. His
    voting portion now amounts to 25.200 %. This corresponds to 8,744,486
    voting rights. 23.100 % (8,015,760 voting rights) are attributed to Volker
