pursuant to section 21 (1) WpHG that on 29 September 2010, the stake of
Capital Research and Management Company in the voting rights in our company
fell below the threshold of 3 %. On that date, Capital Research and
Management Company held 2.75 % in relation to all voting rights in
Beiersdorf AG (voting rights arising from 6,939,012 ordinary shares
(Stammaktien)) in relation to all voting rights in Beiersdorf AG.
Beiersdorf AG has issued ordinary shares only.
