On October 13, 2010 State Street (Jersey) Limited, St. Helier, Jersey,
Channel Islands, informed us as follows:

Our percentage of voting rights in alstria office REIT-AG, Hamburg,
Germany, fell short of the threshold of 50% on September 23, 2010
(according to the announcement of alstria office REIT-AG regarding the
increase of voting rights in the company as of September 30, 2010) and, as
per this date, amounts to 48.17% of the voting rights (29,671,139 voting
rights).

Of these voting rights 48.17% (29,671,139 voting rights) are attributable
to us pursuant to Sec. 22 (1) sentence 1 no. 1 WpHG.

Voting rights that are to be attributed to us are held via the following
company which is controlled by us and whose holdings of voting rights
amount to 3% each or more in alstria office REIT-AG:

• State Street Administration Services (Ireland) Limited, Dublin, Ireland
  (formerly named Mourant Ireland Limited).
