United Internet resolves further buyback of its own shares

Montabaur, December 10, 2010. The Management Board of United Internet AG
(ISIN DE0005089031) today resolved to launch a further buyback program. In
the course of this new share buyback program, up to 4,000,000 company
shares (corresponding to approx. 1.67% of capital stock) are to be bought
back via the stock exchange. The resolution follows the authorization of
the Annual Shareholders' Meeting of June 2, 2010 to buy back shares
representing up to 10% of the company's capital stock. The authorization
was issued for the period up to May 25, 2012.
United Internet currently holds 20,000,000 treasury shares, corresponding
to around 8.33% of capital stock.
The repurchased shares can be used for all purposes stated in the
authorization of the Annual Shareholders' Meeting of June 2, 2010, in
particular for current and future employee stock ownership plans and / or
as an acquisition currency, but may also be cancelled.
