Thereof, 4.81% (15,585,515 voting rights) are attributed to Otto Beisheim
Holding GmbH pursuant to section 22 para. 2 sentence 1 WpHG.

Voting rights of the following shareholder, which proportion of voting
rights in METRO AG amounts to 3% or more, are attributed to Otto Beisheim
Holding GmbH as of this day:

• OB Beteiligungsgesellschaft mbH.

  The proportion of voting rights in METRO AG held by Otto Beisheim Betriebs
  GmbH fell below the 10% threshold on December 10, 2010 and as of this day
