On December 29, 2010, Allianz Global Investors Kapitalanlagegesellschaft
mbH, Frankfurt am Main, Germany has informed us according to Article 21,
Section 1 of the WpHG that via shares its Voting Rights on AIXTRON SE,
Herzogenrath, Deutschland, ISIN: DE000A0WMPJ6, WKN: A0WMPJ, have exceeded
the 3% threshold of the Voting Rights on December 23, 2010 and on that day
amounted to 3.12% (this corresponds to 3157808 Voting Rights).
According to Article 22, Section 1, Sentence 1, No. 6 of the WpHG, 1.01% of
the Voting Rights (this corresponds to 1022717 Voting Rights) is to be
attributed to the company.
