notice pursuant to sec. 21 para'. 1 WpHG that on February 23, 2011 the
voting rights in MTU Aero Engines Holding AG exceeded the threshold of 3%
and amount to 3,01% (1,565,003 voting rights) as per this date.

3,01% (1,565,003 voting rights) are attributable to Threadneedle Asset
Management Holding SARL pursuant to sec. 22 para. 1 sent. 1 no. 6 in
connection with sent. 2 WpHG. 0,12% (63019 voting rights) of these rights
are also attributable according sec. 22 para.1 sent.1 no. 1 WpHG.
