The Capital Group International, Inc., Los Angeles, USA, has informed us on
March 7, 2011, in accordance with section 21 (1) WpHG (German Securities
Trading Act) that its share in the voting rights of SÜSS MicroTec AG,
Garching, Germany, fell below the 5% threshold on March 18, 2003 and now
amounts to 4.85% (Amount of Shares: 724,695). 4.85% of the vot-ing rights
(724,695 voting rights) are attributed to it in accordance with section 22
para. 1 sentence 1 no. 6 of the WpHG in connection with section 22 para. 1
sentence 2 and 3 of the WpHG.
