SAF-HOLLAND S.A.: SAF-HOLLAND returns to three-shift operations

Luxembourg, March 9th, 2011 - SAF-HOLLAND S.A., a leading supplier for the
global truck and trailer industry, has returned to a growth path. As a
result of the sustained high level of demand for trailer axles, a third
work shift has been introduced at the plant in Frauengrund / Bessenbach.
Approximately 60 industrial employees have been recruited in connection
with this step.

SAF-HOLLAND has now returned to three shift operations at all of its
Bavarian locations. 'According to current market research ratings the
upward trend in the commercial vehicles industry will go on in 2011', says
CEO Rudi Ludwig. 'We will continue to participate in this upswing.'

suppliers of premium product systems and components primarily for trailers
as well as trucks, buses and recreational vehicles. The product range
encompasses axle and suspension systems, fifth wheels, coupling devices,
kingpins, and landing legs. SAF-HOLLAND customers include the majority of
large truck and trailer producers all over the world. The products are sold
to Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and Original Equipment Suppliers

aftermarket channels directly to the end users and service garages.

extensive product range and a broad service network. SAF-HOLLAND S.A. has
been listed in the Prime Standard of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange since
June 2007 and has been in the SDAX since December 2010.
