Düsseldorf, June 8, 2011 - Mr. Dieter Ammer has notified GEA Group
Aktiengesellschaft that for personal reasons he will resign from his
position as member of the Supervisory Board of GEA Group Aktiengesellschaft
with effect as of July 7, 2011. Mr. Ammer was a member of the Supervisory
Board of GEA Group Aktiengesellschaft since June 3, 2003. With respect and
regrets the Supervisory Board has taken note of this decision and expresses
its gratitude for the many years of active and valuable service of Mr.
Ammer in the Supervisory Board of GEA Group Aktiengesellschaft.
