On June 29, 2011, Baillie Gifford & Co, Edinburgh, Scotland has informed us
according to Article 21, Section 1 of the WpHG that via shares its Voting
Rights on AIXTRON SE, Herzogenrath, Deutschland, ISIN: DE000A0WMPJ6, WKN:
A0WMPJ, have exceeded the 5% threshold of the Voting Rights on June 28,
2011 and on that day amounted to 5.23% (this corresponds to 5321680 Voting
Rights).
According to Article 22, Section 1, Sentence 1, No. 6 of the WpHG, 1.40% of
the Voting Rights (this corresponds to 1424187 Voting Rights) is to be
attributed to the company.
According to Article 22, Section 1, Sentence 1, No. 6 of the WpHG, 3.83% of
the Voting Rights (this corresponds to 3897493 Voting Rights) is to be
attributed to the company via Baillie Gifford Overseas Limited according to
