CENIT with preliminary figures 2011 – significant increase of result in relation to previous year

CENIT AG (ISIN: DE0005407100) - Stuttgart, February 20th, 2012 - Group
sales increase of 16% and EBIT increase of 57% compared to previous year

According to preliminary, unaudited figures sales totaled 107.84 m EUR
(2010: 93.17 m EUR/+16%), representing EBITDA of 8.71 m EUR (2010: 5.74 m
EUR/+52%) and EBIT of 6.24 m EUR (2010: 3.97 m EUR/+57%). Earnings per
share (EPS) attained 0.51 EUR (2010: 0.36 EUR/+42%). On 31 December 2011
CENIT Group employed 657 staff plus approx. 31 trainees and students (2010:
634 plus 43 trainees). On the balance-sheet date equity capital totaled
32.1 m EUR (2010: 29.0 m EUR) and bank deposits and short-term securities
totaled 18.13 m EUR (2010: 13.30 m EUR).

Detailed results of the 2011 business year as well as the proposal on the
appropriation of the net profits will be published together with the
approved annual financial statements on 16 April 2012. The figures provided
above are preliminary and unaudited consolidated figures within the meaning
of IFRS.
