The Universal Investment Gesellschaft mbH, Frankfurt am Main, Germany, has
informed us on February 21, 2012, in accordance with section 21 para.1 and
section 22 para.1 sentence 1 no. 6 WpHG (German Securities Trading Act)
that its share in the voting rights of SÜSS MicroTec AG, Garching, Germany,
fell below the 3% threshold on February 20, 2012 and now amounts to 2.54%
(Amount of Shares: 486,093). 2.28% of the voting rights (436,843 voting
rights) are attributed to it in accordance with section 22 para. 1 sentence
1 no. 6 of the WpHG.
