With letter dated February 23, 2012, Allianz Global Investors
Kapitalanlagegesellschaft mbH, Frankfurt/Main, Germany, has notified us
pursuant to section 21 (1) sentence 1 of the German Securities Trading Act
(WpHG) as follows:

'We hereby give notice pursuant to section 21 (1) sentence 1 of the German
Securities Trading Act (WpHG) that our voting rights in STRATEC Biomedical
AG, Gewerbestr. 37, 75217 Birkenfeld, fell below the threshold of 3% on
February 22, 2012 and on that day amount to 2.999% of all voting rights of
the Company (this reflects 350,161 of all 11,674,895 voting rights).

With respect to our voting rights, 0.25% of all voting rights (this
reflects 29,745 of all 11,674,895 voting rights) are attributed to us
pursuant to section 22 (1) sentence 1 number 6 of the German Securities
Trading Act (WpHG).

Voting rights pursuant to section 17 (1) number 7 of the German Securities
Trading Reporting and Insider Register Ordinance (WpAIV) were not
acquired.'
