With letter dated May 16, 2012, Allianz Global Investors
Kapitalanlagegesellschaft mbH, Frankfurt/Main, Germany, has notified us
pursuant to section 21 (1) sentence 1 of the German Securities Trading Act
(WpHG) as follows:

'We hereby give notice pursuant to section 21 (1) sentence 1 of the German
Securities Trading Act (WpHG) that our voting rights in STRATEC Biomedical
AG, Gewerbestr. 37, 75217 Birkenfeld, exceeded the threshold of 3% on May
14, 2012 and on that day amount to 3.02% of all voting rights of the
Company (this reflects 352,872 of all 11,674,895 voting rights).

With respect to our voting rights, 0.19% of all voting rights (this
reflects 22,762 of all 11,674,895 voting rights) are attributed to us
pursuant to section 22 (1) sentence 1 number 6 of the German Securities
Trading Act (WpHG).'
