Jenoptik Group raises EBIT forecast for fiscal year 2012 to 50 to 55
million euros.
Positive development of business continued also in the 2nd quarter 2012.
Sales are expected to increase by 5 to 10 percent.
The business of the Jenoptik Group developed positively throughout the 1st
half year 2012. Jenoptik benefits from the continuing implementation of its
strategy of internationalization, the winning of new customers in the
system business as well as from the better than expected business in Lasers
& Optical Systems and Metrology segments. On this basis, the Executive
Board of JENOPTIK AG today raised its forecasts for the full fiscal year
2012. Sales are now anticipated to increase by 5 to 10 percent (previous
forecast 4 to 8 percent). The Executive Board expects the Group EBIT to
come in between 50 and 55 million euros (previous forecast 45 to 50 million
euros). The Jenoptik Group therefore expects to post also a successful 2012
fiscal year.
