CENIT AG (ISIN: DE0005407100) - Stuttgart, July 31th 2012 - Christian
Pusch, Speaker of the Managing Board of CENIT Aktiengesellschaft, has
announced to the Supervisory Board that he does not intend to extend the
employment contract. His employment ends contractually on 31 July 2013. Mr.
Pusch plans to take on a new challenge outside CENIT Aktiengesellschaft.
Until his departure, he will continue to faithfully observe his duties as
Chief Financial Officer.

The Supervisory Board of CENIT AG wishes to use this occasion to expressly
thank Christian Pusch for the many years of successful collaboration, and
to wish him all the best and continued success in the years to come.

Effective immediately, the Supervisory Board has appointed Kurt Bengel to
replace Christian Pusch as Speaker of the Managing Board of CENIT
Aktiengesellschaft. In addition to his previous Managing Board duties, Kurt
Bengel will also assume responsibility for the investor relations field.
