On August 15, 2012, Allianz Global Investors Kapitalanlagegesellschaft mbH,
Frankfurt/Main, Germany has informed us according to Article 21, Section 1
of the WpHG that via shares its Voting Rights on AIXTRON SE, Herzogenrath,
Germany, have exceeded the 5% threshold of the Voting Rights on August 13,
2012 and on that day amounted to 5.03% (this corresponds to 5125117 Voting
Rights).
According to Article 22, Section 1, Sentence 1, No. 6 of the WpHG, 0.65% of
the Voting Rights (this corresponds to 666765 Voting Rights) is to be
attributed to the company.
