On September 06, 2012, The Capital Group Companies, Los Angeles,
California, USA, informed us according to Article 21, Section 1 of the
WpHG, that on September 01, 2012 its voting rights in Deutsche Börse AG,
Frankfurt/Main, Germany, exceeded the 3% threshold of the voting rights in
Deutsche Börse AG and on that day amounted to 3.38% (this corresponds to
6,524,561 voting rights).

All of these voting rights were to be attributed to The Capital Group
Companies, Inc. pursuant to Article 22, Section 1, Sentence 1, No. 6 in
connection with sentences 2 and 3 of the WpHG.
