On October 04, 2012, The Capital Group Companies, Los Angeles, California,
USA, informed us according to Article 21, Section 1 of the WpHG, that on
October 02, 2012 its voting rights in Deutsche Börse AG, Frankfurt/Main,
Germany, fell below the 3% threshold of the voting rights in Deutsche Börse
AG and on that day amounted to 2.75% (this corresponds to 5,310,796 voting
rights).

All of these voting rights were to be attributed to The Capital Group
Companies, Inc. pursuant to Article 22, Section 1, Sentence 1 No. 6 in
connection with Article 22, Section 1, Sentences 2 and 3 of the WpHG.
