On October 04, 2012, Capital Research and Management Company, Los Angeles,
California, USA, informed us according to Article 21, Section 1 of the
WpHG, that on October 01, 2012 its voting rights in Deutsche Börse AG,
Frankfurt/Main, Germany, fell below the 3% threshold of the voting rights
in Deutsche Börse AG and on that day amounted to 2.88% (this corresponds to
5,562,043 voting rights).

All of these voting rights were to be attributed to The Capital Group
Companies, Inc. pursuant to Article 22, Section 1, Sentence 1 No. 6 of the
WpHG.
