Release of an announcement according to Article 26, Section 1, Sentence 1
WpHG

In accordance with Article 21, Section 1 WpHG, Ms. Gabriele Wahl-Multerer,
Germany, has informed us on October 10, 2012 that her share of voting
rights in JENOPTIK AG fell below the threshold of 3% on October 4, 2012. On
October 4, 2012 Ms. Gabriele Wahl-Multerer held 0.05 % of the voting rights
(28,490 voting rights).

0.05 % (28,490 voting rights) are attributable to her in accordance with
Article 22, Section 1, Sentence 1, No. 1 WpHG through ZOOM Immobilien GmbH.
