Uns wurde mit Schreiben vom 25. Oktober 2012 folgendes mitgeteilt:

Threadneedle Asset Management Holdings SARL, Luxembourg, Luxembourg, gives
notice pursuant to sec. 21 para. 1 WpHG that on October 24, 2012 the voting
rights in MTU Aero Engines Holding AG exceeded the threshold of 3% and
amount to 3.01% (1,563,503 voting rights) as per this date.

3.01% (1,563,503 voting rights) are attributable to Threadneedle Asset
Management Holdings SARL pursuant to sec. 22 para. 1 sent. 1 no. 6 in
connection with sent. 2 WpHG. 0.08% (40,764 voting rights) of these voting
rights are also attributable according to sec. 22 para. 1 sent. 1 no. 1
WpHG.
