Leifheit AG: Major shareholders intend sale of their stakes

The major shareholder HOME Beteiligungen GmbH, which holds a participating
interest of rounded 49% in the registered capital of Leifheit AG has
informed the Board of Directors that it as well as MKV Verwaltungs GmbH,
which holds rounded 10% in Leifheit AG, intend to part from their stakes in
Leifheit AG.

An off-market sales process that is supported by the investment bank BNP
Paribas is said to have been initiated. The sole reason for this decision
is the sellers' personal asset planning.
