On December 21, 2012, Allianz Global Investors Europe GmbH, Frankfurt am
Main, Deutschland has informed us according to Article 21, Section 1 of the
WpHG that via shares its Voting Rights on AIXTRON SE, Herzogenrath,
Deutschland, have fallen below the 5% threshold of the Voting Rights on
December 17, 2012 and on that day amounted to 4.99% (this corresponds to
5086746 Voting Rights).
According to Article 22, Section 1, Sentence 1, No. 6 of the WpHG, 0.78% of
the Voting Rights (this corresponds to 792946 Voting Rights) is to be
attributed to the company.
