On December 21, 2012, BlackRock International Holdings, Inc., New York, NY,
USA informed us according to Article 21 Section 1 WpHG that on February 8,
2012 its voting rights in Deutsche Börse AG, Frankfurt/Main, Germany,
exceeded the 3% threshold of voting rights in Deutsche Börse AG and on that
day amounted to 3.58% (this corresponds to 6981055 voting rights).

All of these voting rights were attributed to BlackRock International
Holdings, Inc. pursuant to Article 22 Section 1 Sentence 1 No. 6 WpHG in
connection with Article 22 Section 1 Sentence 2 WpHG.
