On December 28, 2012, RD Holding GmbH & Co. KG, Montabaur, Germany, has
informed us according to Article 21, Section 1 of the WpHG that via shares
its Voting Rights on United Internet AG, Montabaur, Germany, have exceeded
the 3% threshold of the Voting Rights on December 20, 2012 and on that day
amounted to 3.72% (this corresponds to 8,000,000 Voting Rights).

On December 28, 2012, RD Holding-Verwaltungs GmbH, Montabaur, Germany, has
informed us according to Article 21, Section 1 of the WpHG that via shares
its Voting Rights on United Internet AG, Montabaur, Germany, have exceeded
the 3% threshold of the Voting Rights on December 20, 2012 and on that day
amounted to 3.72% (this corresponds to 8,000,000 Voting Rights).

According to Article 22, Section 1, Sentence 1, No. 1 of the WpHG, 3.72% of
the Voting Rights (this corresponds to 8,000,000 Voting Rights) is to be
attributed to the company. Voting rights that are to be attributed RD
Holding-Verwaltungs GmbH are held via the following companies which are
controlled by RD Holding-Verwaltungs GmbH and whose holdings of voting
rights amount to 3% each or more in United Internet AG:
- RD Holding GmbH & Co. KG, Montabaur, Germany
