On 24 December 2012, the voting interest held by BlackRock Group Limited,
London, UK, in GEA Group Aktiengesellschaft, Düsseldorf, Germany, fell
below the threshold of 3 %. On that date, BlackRock Group Limited held 2.95
% (5,541,305 voting rights) of the voting rights in GEA Group
Aktiengesellschaft.

All of the voting rights are attributable to BlackRock Group Limited
