Dissemination of a Voting Rights Announcement, transmitted by

U.S.A. has informed us according to Article 21, Section 1 of the WpHG that
via shares its Voting Rights on AIXTRON SE, Herzogenrath, Deutschland, have
exceeded the 3% threshold of the Voting Rights on January 16, 2013 and on
that day amounted to 3.05% (this corresponds to 3111945 Voting Rights).
According to Article 22, Section 1, Sentence 1, No. 6 in connection with
sentence 2 of the WpHG, 3.05% of the Voting Rights (this corresponds to
3111945 Voting Rights) is to be attributed to the company.
Furthermore, on January 18, 2013, BlackRock Holdco 2, Inc., Wilmington, DE,
U.S.A. has informed us according to Article 21, Section 1 of the WpHG that
via shares its Voting Rights on AIXTRON SE, Herzogenrath, Deutschland, have
exceeded the 3% threshold of the Voting Rights on January 16, 2013 and on
that day amounted to 3.05% (this corresponds to 3111945 Voting Rights).
According to Article 22, Section 1, Sentence 1, No. 6 in connection with
sentence 2 of the WpHG, 3.05% of the Voting Rights (this corresponds to
3111945 Voting Rights) is to be attributed to the company.
