Release of an announcement
according to Section 26, para. 1 sent. 1 WpHG

In accordance with Section 21, para. 1 WpHG, ODDO & CIE, Paris, France, has
informed us on January 25, 2013, that its share of voting rights in
JENOPTIK AG increased above the threshold of 3% on January 24, 2013. At
this day, ODDO & CIE held 3.05 % of the voting rights (1,747,653 voting
rights).
3.05% of the voting rights (1,747,653 voting rights) were attributable to
ODDO & CIE pursuant to Section 22 para. 1 sent. 1 no. 6 WpHG in connection
with Section 22 para. 1 sent. 2 WpHG.
