Uns wurde mit Schreiben vom 18. März 2013 folgendes mitgeteilt:

The Capital Group Companies, Inc., Los Angeles, USA, gives notice pursuant
to section 21 (1) WpHG of the following:

On 13 March 2013, the stake of The Capital Group Companies, Inc. in the
voting rights in MTU Aero Engines Holding AG, Dachauer Straße 665, 80995
München, fell below the threshold of 15%. On that day, The Capital Group
Companies, Inc., held 14.99% (7,792,212 ordinary shares (Stammaktien)) in
relation to all voting rights in MTU Aero Engines Holding AG.

14.99% (7,792,212 ordinary shares) of all voting rights in MTU Aero Engines
Holding AG were attributed to The Capital Group Companies, Inc. pursuant to
section 22 (1) sent. 1 no. 6 WpHG in connection with section 22 (1) sent. 2
and sent. 3 WpHG. Of those voting rights arising from 7,792,212 ordinary
shares, voting rights arising from ordinary shares representing more than
3% were held by each of American Funds Fundamental Investors, Los Angeles,
USA, and The Growth Fund of America, Inc., Los Angeles, USA, which are thus
shareholders holding each a stake of 3% or more in the voting rights in MTU
Aero Engines Holding AG.
