KION GROUP AG: Release according to Section 26 para. 1 WpHG (the German
Securities Trading Act) with the objective of Europe-wide distribution

On July 3, 2013, KION GROUP AG, Abraham-Lincoln-Strasse 21, 65189
Wiesbaden, Germany (ISIN DE000KGX8881, WKN KGX888) has received the
following voting rights notifications pursuant to Section 21 para. 1a WpHG
(notification for first-time admission):

1. Weichai Power (Luxembourg) Holding S.à r.l., Luxembourg, Grand Duchy of
   Luxembourg, has informed us according to Section 21 para. 1a WpHG, that
   on June 27, 2013, the date of the first-time admission of the shares in
   KION GROUP AG to trading on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange, its share in
   the voting rights of KION GROUP AG amounted to 78.89% (78,021,512
   voting rights). Of this, 48.89% (48,351,512 voting rights) were
   attributed to Weichai Power (Luxembourg) Holding S.à r.l. according to
   Section 22 para. 2 WpHG and were held by Superlift Holding S.à r.l.

2. Weichai Power Hong Kong International Development Co., Ltd., Hong Kong,
   People's Republic of China, has informed us according to Section 21
   para. 1a WpHG, that on June 27, 2013, the date of the first-time
   admission of the shares in KION GROUP AG to trading on the Frankfurt
   Stock Exchange, its share in the voting rights of KION GROUP AG
   amounted to 78.89% (78,021,512 voting rights). Of this, 30.00%
   (29,670,000 voting rights) were attributed to Weichai Power Hong Kong
   International Development Co., Ltd. according to Section 22 para. 1
   sentence 1 no. 1 WpHG and held by the following controlled company:

3. Weichai Power (Luxembourg) Holding S.à r.l.

An additional 48.89% (48,351,512 voting rights) was attributed to Weichai
Power Hong Kong International Development Co., Ltd. according to Section 22
para. 2 WpHG and was held by Superlift Holding S.à r.l.

1. Weichai Power Co., Ltd., Weifang, province of Shandong, People's
   Republic of China, has informed us according to Section 21 para. 1a
   WpHG, that on June 27, 2013, the date of the first-time admission of
   the shares in KION GROUP AG to trading on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange,
   its share in the voting rights of KION GROUP AG amounted to 78.89%
   (78,021,512 voting rights). Of this, 30.00% (29,670,000 voting rights)
   were attributed to Weichai Power Co., Ltd. according to Section 22
   para. 1 sentence 1 no. 1 WpHG and held by the following controlled
   companies:

3. Weichai Power (Luxembourg) Holding S.à r.l.

An additional 48.89% (48,351,512 voting rights) was attributed to Weichai
Power Co., Ltd. according to Section 22 para. 2 WpHG and was held by
Superlift Holding S.à r.l.

   Republic of China, has informed us according to Section 21 para. 1a
   WpHG, that on June 27, 2013, the date of the first-time admission of
   the shares in KION GROUP AG to trading on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange,
   its share in the voting rights of KION GROUP AG amounted to 78.89%
   (78,021,512 voting rights). Of this, 30.00% (29,670,000 voting rights)
   were attributed to Weichai Group Holdings Limited according to Section
   22 para. 1 sentence 1 no. 1 WpHG and held by the following controlled
   companies:

1. Shandong Heavy Industry Group Co., Ltd., Jinan, province of Shandong,
   People's Republic of China, has informed us according to Section 21
   para. 1a WpHG, that on June 27, 2013, the date of the first-time
   admission of the shares in KION GROUP AG to trading on the Frankfurt
   Stock Exchange, its share in the voting rights of KION GROUP AG
   amounted to 78.89% (78,021,512 voting rights). Of this, 30.00%
   (29,670,000 voting rights) were attributed to Shandong Heavy Industry
   Group Co., Ltd. according to Section 22 para. 1 sentence 1 no. 1 WpHG
   and held by the following controlled companies:

3. Weichai Power Co., Ltd.;

4. Weichai Power Hong Kong International Development Co., Ltd.;

5. Weichai Power (Luxembourg) Holding S.à r.l.

Heavy Industry Group Co., Ltd. according to Section 22 para. 2 WpHG and was
held by Superlift Holding S.à r.l.

1. The State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission
   (SASAC) of Shandong People's Government of the People's Republic of
   China, Jinan, province of Shandong, People's Republic of China
   ('Shandong SASAC'), acting on behalf of the People's Republic of China,
   has informed us according to Section 21 para. 1a WpHG, that on June 27,
   2013, the date of the first-time admission of the shares in KION GROUP
   AG to trading on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange, the People's Republic of
   China's share in the voting rights of KION GROUP AG amounted to 78.89%
   (78,021,512 voting rights). Of this, 30.00% (29,670,000 voting rights)
   were attributed to the People's Republic of China, acting through
   Shandong SASAC, according to Section 22 para. 1 sentence 1 no. 1 WpHG
   and held by the following controlled companies:

3. Weichai Group Holdings Limited;

4. Weichai Power Co., Ltd.;

5. Weichai Power Hong Kong International Development Co., Ltd.;

People's Republic of China, acting through Shandong SASAC, according to
