VERBIO SUBSIDIARY MÄRKA GMBH SUCCESSFULLY CONTINUES TO SELL ITS LOCATIONS
Zörbig/Leipzig, 24 July 2013 – Märka GmbH has sold off three additional locations (two seed facilities and a grain storage facility in Angermünde and Jüterbog) to two subsidiaries of Getreide AG. The Riesa, Genthin and Tucheim locations were sold to two agricultural traders last week. In addition to acquiring land, real estate and assets, the purchasers are going to take over all the 27 people employed at the sites concerned. Sale proceeds are in the single-digit million euro range. The transaction with Getreide AG is subject to the approval of the German Federal Cartel Office. In June of this year, twelve locations were already sold.

Even during the harvest, we will continue our discussions with interested parties for the remaining locations.’
