Correction of a voting rights announcement as of August 7, 2013:

On August 6, 2013, Software AG was notified by Alken Luxembourg S.A. and
Alken Fund SICAV, Luxembourg, Luxembourg, pursuant to section 21 para. 1
WpHG of the following:

a) On August 2, 2013, the voting rights held by Alken Luxembourg S.A.,
Luxembourg, Luxembourg, exceed the threshold of 3% of the voting rights
in Software AG, Uhlandstrasse 12, 64297 Darmstadt, Germany. On that
date, Alken Luxembourg S.A. held 3.08% of the voting rights in Software
AG (this corresponds to 2,677,591 voting rights).

All voting rights in Software AG were attributed to Alken Luxembourg S.A.
pursuant to section 22, para. 1, sentence 1, no. 6 WpHG. The voting rights
were attributed to Alken Luxembourg S.A. inter alia from the following
shareholder, holding directly 3% or more of the voting rights in Software
AG: Alken Fund SICAV
