We received on August 16, 2013 a notification of voting rights pursuant to
sections 21 (1), 22 (1) sent. 1 no. 6, sent. 2 and 3 German Securities
Trading Act:

On August 13, 2013, the stake of Artisan Partners Limited Partnership,
Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA, in the voting rights in MTU Aero Engines AG,
Dachauer Str. 665, 80995 München, Germany, exceeded the threshold of 3%. On
that date, Artisan Partners Limited Partnership held 3.14% in relation to
all voting rights in MTU Aero Engines AG (voting rights arising from
1,631,852 ordinary shares (Stammaktien)). All such voting rights were
attributable to Artisan Partners Limited Partnership pursuant to section 22
(1) sent. 1 no. 6 WpHG.

Wisconsin, USA, in the voting rights in MTU Aero Engines AG, Dachauer Str.
665, 80995 München, Germany, exceeded the threshold of 3%. On that date,
Artisan Investments GP LLC held 3.14% in relation to all voting rights in
MTU Aero Engines AG (voting rights arising from 1,631,852 ordinary shares
(Stammaktien)). All such voting rights were attributable to Artisan
Investments GP LLC pursuant to section 22 (1) sent. 1 no. 6 in connection
with sentences 2 and 3 WpHG.

Artisan Partners Holdings LP held 3.14% in relation to all voting rights in
MTU Aero Engines AG (voting rights arising from 1,631,852 ordinary shares
(Stammaktien)). All such voting rights were attributable to Artisan
Partners Holdings LP pursuant to section 22 (1) sent. 1 no. 6 in connection
with sentences 2 and 3 WpHG.

all voting rights in MTU Aero Engines AG (voting rights arising from

in MTU Aero Engines AG (voting rights arising from 1,631,852 ordinary

in relation to all voting rights in MTU Aero Engines AG (voting rights
arising from 1,631,852 ordinary shares (Stammaktien)). All such voting
rights were attributable to ZFIC, Inc. pursuant to section 22 (1) sent. 1
no. 6 in connection with sentences 2 and 3 WpHG.
