Buyback of own shares - 1st interim notification

In the period from August 28, 2013 to September 5, 2013 inclusive a total
of 47,187 shares were purchased within the scope of the share buyback. The
commencement of this share buyback on August 28, 2013 was provided by way
of ad-hoc disclosure of August 26, 2013.

The buyback of shares has been carried out through a bank mandated by KION
GROUP AG, exclusively through the XETRA trading system of the Frankfurt
Stock Exchange.

Information on these transactions pursuant to Art. 4 para. 3 of the
Regulation (EC) no. 2273/2003 is published on the website of KION GROUP AG
