Franklin Templeton LLC, Wilmington, Delaware, USA, gives notice pursuant to
sec. 21 para. 1WpHG that on September 18, 2013 the voting rights in MTU
Aero Engines AG fell below the threshold of 3% and amount to 2.96%
(1,538,190 voting rights) as per this date.

2.96% (1,538,190 voting rights) are attributable to Franklin Templeton
Institutional, LLC, pursuant to sec. 22 para.1 sent 1 no. 6.
