Adval Tech’s focusing strategy takes shape
| Adval Tech’s focusing strategy takes shape |
| Niederwangen, November 25, 2013, 7.00 a.m. – In implementing its focusing strategy and as part of its global orientation, the Adval Tech Group has decided to use only two sub-brands “Adval Tech Styner+Bienz” and “Adval Tech FOBOHA” in addition to the umbrella brand “Adval Tech” in future. The new brand strategy will also result in some companies being given new names. The relevant preparatory work will be started this year. The Adval Tech Group focuses on selected activities in the metal and plastic components business and on mold making, as stipulated in the focusing strategy introduced in 2012. This year, among other things, the Group amalgamated its Chinese production sites in Suzhou; components production from Xiamen was transferred there, as was mold making from Shanghai. In the Components segment, Adval Tech will in future be focusing on the automotive market and on related applications. Related applications are those that use technologies similar to those for the production of car parts. In mold making, Adval Tech operates primarily in the consumer goods and bodycare products, packaging and medical technology markets and in the automotive industry. |
