On December 13, 2013, Franklin Mutual Advisers, Wilmington, Delaware, USA
informed us according to Article 21, Section 1 of the WpHG that on December
12, 2013 its voting rights in Deutsche Börse Aktiengesellschaft,
Mergenthaler Allee 61, 65760 Eschborn, Germany, exceeded the 3% threshold
of the voting rights and on that day amounted to 3.01% (this corresponds to
5803621 voting rights).

3.01% of the voting rights (this corresponds to 5803621 voting rights) are
to be attributed to the company according to Article 22, Section 1,
Sentence 1, No. 6 of the WpHG.
